Pollo casalingo al vino bianco

Chicken pieces for 4 people
600ml white wine
3 tbsp white wine venegar
2 shallots finely sliced
2 carrots roughly chopped
1 celery stalk roughly chopped
4 bay leaves
2 cloves
salt
10 black peppercorns
40g butter
4 slices of lemon
Put all in a saucepan (can marinate).
Bring to the boil and simmer gently (so some steam can escape) for about 50 minutes. Chicken should be cooked through and golden brown on all sices and liquid absorbed. Serve with rice.
